What to Expect and Is It Worth Visiting
The most accessible and free observation deck overlooking the village and the surrounding area is a few dozen minutes walk from the center. It is not equipped, it is just an open place on a rock (Mount Karcha-you) at an altitude of 200 meters, or about 70 floors, but it offers the best view of the village. Also here are the ruins of the ancient Alan Watchtower, but in fact only a pile of stones remained from it, in which even the outlines of the structure are not recognized.
It is impossible to classify the observation deck as a mandatory place to visit, but if everyone has already looked in Arkhyz, you can climb it. In addition, the path to the site is the easiest walking route from the center of the village.
