There aren't many family-friendly entertainment options in Kuala Lumpur. Considering the city isn't on the coast, the Sunway Lagoon theme park with its water park is an excellent choice for having fun and splashing around in the water. Here you'll find an artificial sandy beach, an area with small slides and pools for children and calm adults, as well as a zone for thrill-seekers with extreme slides and activities. A special attraction is the artificial wave for surfing.
Overall, to be objective, this water park won't amaze you with anything special: there aren't many slides, but they are very colorful and thematic. However, besides water activities, there are also others: a whole amusement park with a 5D cinema, kayaking, a haunted labyrinth, quad biking, archery, and a mini-zoo. Ticket prices and additional activities are very high.

💵 Admission / ticket price
Adult ticket (13 years and over) – 268 ringgit, children (4-12 years old and height less than 90 cm) – 200. With the entrance ticket, you'll have access to all slides, pools, and the beach, but for individual attractions and equipment rental, you'll have to pay extra, from 16 ringgit. Locker rental is also an additional 22 ringgit.

Sunway Lagoon is located far from the city center (Sunway Lagoon Water Park on the map). You can get here by KTM Komuter commuter train to Subang Jaya Station, or by LRT city metro to Subang Jaya Station (see more about Kuala Lumpur metro).
