Bali Airport

Most tourists and travelers get to the island by plane, arriving at the international airport of Ngurah Rai (Ngurah Rai International Airport) or the same international airport of the city of Denpasar (Denpasar International Airport). The airport is located about 15 kilometers from the city of Denpasar, between the cities Jimbaran and Kuta.

Fixed-route taxis also run between cities, and by combining routes you can get them to any corner of the island, but for long-distance travel it is better to use by tourist bus.

Bemo drivers are always trying to extort money from tourists. They often perceive the question of the route of movement as something that you hire them as a taxi, and they will take you where you need. Naturally, you will have to pay for a taxi. So if you have already started talking to the driver about the route, then be sure to specify the price of the trip.

Tourist buses

For guests of the island, transportation between the main tourist centers is organized by air-conditioned buses or mini buses (tourist shuttle bus). For long-distance travel, this is the most convenient form of transport. Routes and prices are fixed, and it is better to purchase tickets in advance, a day in advance.

Rent a car or motorcycle
