What to Expect and Is It Worth Visiting
Lermontov gallery - one of the architectural attractions in Flower Garden Park but it is so famous and remarkable that it deserves a separate mention. This unique building made of glass and metal appeared here in 1901 on July 15, the anniversary of the death of Mikhail Lermontov. It was commissioned on the initiative of the director of Caucasian resorts to develop the resort potential of the city, namely, to hold concerts, exhibitions and performances for vacationers.
The peculiarity of the building is that it was designed and cast entirely from metal at the factory, and then already delivered to the site for assembly and installation. By the way, first the pavilion visited the architectural exhibition in Nizhny Novgorod, and then it was again dismantled and moved here. In Essentuki, a similar building has also been preserved-the Pushkin gallery.
Today, the gallery building decorates the most beautiful floral part of the Park Flower Garden, and inside there is a concert and Exhibition Complex. Concerts and exhibitions are held on a schedule that can be found at the entrance to the galleries or from ticket distributors. Sometimes exhibitions and concerts are completely free.
