This museum is the largest and oldest in the resorts of the Caucasian Mineral Waters. The building itself is a historical object, the former first hotel in the resort. The museum has a huge collection of exhibits, including archaeological finds, books, documents, photographs, household items and decorative arts. In our opinion, this is a must-visit place to start exploring the city. Ideally, the museum should be visited with a guided tour, which is offered when buying tickets, but even without it it will be very interesting and informative. We recommend that you definitely visit the Pyatigorsk Museum of Local Lore, and if possible, first of all, even before exploring other interesting places of the resort.

Adults – 150 rubles; pensioners, students, students – 70, up to 16 years – free of charge. Excursion service – 400 rubles per group or 40 rubles per person/group.

The museum is located in the center of the resort area on Bernardazzi Brothers street, house 2 in front of the entrance to the Flower Garden Park (museum on the map).
