Shameless baths or folk baths - these are sources of healing radon water for bathing, located directly under the open sky in natural pools formed in the rocks in the center of the tourist area of Pyatigorsk. There is no infrastructure and amenities here, the sources are not equipped at all, therefore they are called "people's". Water flows from one bath to another, gradually cooling, which is why they have different temperatures: very hot, medium, and so on. There are always a lot of people who want to swim for free, especially in the high tourist season, so it's better to come here late at night or even at night.
In general, there are two sources at once, and both of them come from the territory of the neighboring Sanatorium from the pipe. One main of several pools, and another a couple of dozen meters away, consisting of only one pool with lukewarm water.
The attitude to swimming in this place is different. Someone believes that it is useless and even dangerous, and someone is happy to use the "freebie". Anyway, next to the sources there is a large information board with a warning that the sources are unsafe, and they exceed the content of microorganisms.

located on the outskirts of the tourist district on Gagarin Boulevard (baths on the map. There is a good quiet road from the center, so usually tourists and vacationers get there on foot. You can get there by bus number 1 to the stop "Pirogov baths". A staircase leads down to the baths.
