Observation deck at the eastern gate of Chufut-Kale is one of the most easily accessible observation points near Bakhchisarai with magnificent mountain views. It is free, and it can be reached from the center of the tourist district of Bakhchisarai even on foot. If you don't want to walk a lot, you can get to the parking lot of the cave city of Chufut–Kale, then it will take a little more than 2 kilometers to get to it. However, in our opinion, it is worth visiting this observation deck together with the cave city, or at least when visiting the ancient Karaite cemetery of Balta-Tiimez. And especially and purposefully go only to the examination room, perhaps still not worth it.
Well, if this observation point is not enough for you, then you can walk a little more than a kilometer from it to an even steeper observation point on Mount Chufut-Kale.

🚶 How to get there
It is located four kilometers from the center of the tourist district of Bakhchisarai just behind the cave town of Chufut-Kale at its eastern entrance (observation deck on the map). You can get to it through the cave town of Chufut-Kale (this is a paid attraction) and exit through the eastern gate, and you will get almost to the observation deck.
