Moonlight and Alabaster are two of the most beautiful waterfalls near Mezmay, located on the same hiking route not far from each other. The lunar waterfall is high and consists of several levels, the Alabaster one is slightly smaller and "less water". Part of the route passes through the forest along the river, where you can see many small beautiful waterfalls and water slides. Unfortunately, it is impossible to swim in the pools of waterfalls, they simply do not exist here. If you really want, you can go under the water jets, but it's not easy to do this.
The tourist route to these waterfalls is one of the easiest in Mezmay, there are no steep ascents and dangerous sections on it. But it will take about 3 kilometers to walk in one direction from the center of the village, and overcome about 400 meters in height. For the whole way in both directions, it is worth laying 4 hours. The route can be conditionally circular, i.e. you can first walk to the Lunar One, then walk a little to the Alabaster One, and return to the main road by another way. But it's easier to walk to the Alabaster, and return back the same way through the Moon.

🚶 How to get there
the waterfalls are located 3 kilometers from the village center (Moon Waterfall on the map, Alabaster waterfall on the map). They are first reached by a dirt road, which then turns into a hiking trail. There are paint marks on rocks and trees on the trail, and the trail itself is clearly distinguishable and "popular". But from Lunar to Alabaster you will have to wade through the stones. We recommend using the People's offline maps apps for navigation Organic Maps , OSM and others, they very accurately mark the trails to the waterfalls. Theoretically, it is possible to shorten about a kilometer of the way by driving on a dirt road in an SUV, but you need a very passable car or a quad bike, a regular crossover will not pass.
