Embankments in Anapa

Anapa can not boast of a multi-kilometer embankment, like Gelendzhik, but there are three of them here. Due to the complexity of the coastline and chaotic development, it just so happened that there were three walking areas along the coast:

• Main embankment on the Embankment street

  This is the most popular walking area for vacationers, but not because it is the most beautiful, but simply because of its location (main embankment on the map). It is well developed, there are many cafes and shops with souvenirs and leisure goods on it. But, unfortunately, the views of the sea and the beach are hidden from it, everything is built up with a wall of shops and cafes. You will walk along it as if it were a corridor or a market, there are no architectural delights here. There are several passages to access the beach from it.

• Waterfront near the port

  The same Embankment Street runs along the port of Anapa, but the situation here is completely different (at the port on the map). It consists of two levels. There is nothing special on the lower level, except for a few tourist offices for the sale of excursions and diving. But the walking area from above is much more beautiful, decorated with sculptural compositions, and it offers a good view of the water area of the port. Here you can just stand and watch the boats scurrying back and forth and groups of divers and vacationers preparing to depart. Previously, the embankment was filled with slot machines and children's attractions, but now the order has been restored, and this is a comfortable and spacious area for walking. And local artists exhibit their works here, you can buy a picture you like.

• Embankment near the lighthouse or Upper

  Passes along Verkhnyaya Embankment street on the other side of the city from the main beach (near the lighthouse on the map). There are no beaches here, there are much fewer strolling tourists, and therefore, in general, it is cozy to just walk along it and enjoy the sea views, go to a cafe or sit and even lie on modern benches near the lighthouse. And for some reason, a lot of cats gather here, at least we have watched more than once how they stretched out on the grass behind the fence and basked in the sun almost every meter.

A walk along the beaches of Anapa

Anapa has very long sandy beaches, and without any obstacles in the form of fences and breakwaters, as, for example, in Gelendzhik or Sochi. That's why walking on Anapa beaches is a pleasure, and it can be done both during the day and take evening walks. During the day, walking along the city beach is not very comfortable, because there are a lot of vacationers here. But you can go to the outskirts of the center and go for a walk along the almost empty shore towards Dzhemete and Vityazevo. The distances here are huge, for example, 10 kilometers to Vityazevo, but you can walk to any point on the beach and go from the shore to the city on the road to get back by taxi or bus. And in the evening, a good walk can turn out to be on the city beach, there are even organized children's parties and discos for adults.

Central Square and singing fountains

The central square begins on the square with light and musical singing fountains in front of the city administration building, and stretches towards the beach. This is one of the most popular walking areas in the evenings, because at this time the real show begins: the fountains are illuminated in different colors, the height of the jets changes to the beat of the music, and all this is accompanied by classical works in a modern arrangement. Amusement parks

Amusement parks at first glance may not seem like the best place to walk, but if you visit one of them in the midst of fun, which falls in the evening, then for sure come to come again. After all, it will be interesting to walk here and watch others ride extreme rides and scream in fear. Well, maybe decide to have fun yourself.

There are several amusement parks and attractions in Anapa. Therefore, it is worth taking a walk here during your vacation, especially since the sculpture is located next to the beach. Square named after I.V. Gudovich

The long park named after I.V. Gudovich, although it is located a little away from the beaches and the main tourist attractions of the city, but it is the greenest and longest walking area in Anapa, the length of the park is 1 kilometer. It is quiet and peaceful here, there are no merchants and all sorts of entertainment, you can just walk and relax on the benches. The square is decorated with monuments and sculptures: V.I. Lenin, a wooden hut and a cat scientist, the hero of the Great Patriotic War A. S. Korytin, the fountain "Hearts of lovers". At the end of the park is the Museum of local lore and the oceanarium "Bathyscaphe", and access to the embankment past the old lighthouse.

Gorky street

Gorky Street, one of the most saturated streets of the resort with tourist infrastructure, starts from the very center of the city from the Anapa bus station. It is partly pedestrian, and it just so happens that it is on the part of Gorky Street that goes from the bus station towards the square with singing light and music fountains that a huge number of tourist establishments are concentrated: crocodile farm, an exhibition of exotic insects, an art gallery "White Square", shops "All for 20 rubles", cafes and restaurants, kebabs, alcohol sales. You can walk here at any time of the day, but it's most interesting in the evening. And almost certainly after a walk along it you will not be left without a purchase.
