Anapa has excellent beaches, perhaps some of the best in this part of the Black Sea coast, which is quite consistent with the popularity of the resort. There are pebbles and sandy beaches to choose from, although, of course, the hallmark of Anapa is its long and shallow sandy beaches, which are great for relaxing with children or if you do not know how to swim.

The most developed and popular beach within the city is central. It has everything you might need for a beach holiday: entertainment, infrastructure and plenty of space. True, during the high season it can be so crowded that the place must be occupied in the morning. But this problem is easily solved: it is worth moving a little away from the center, as you will get to a multi-kilometer beach stretching towards Dzhemete and Vityazevo.

All beaches here are free and publicly accessible with the exception of one section of the coast, which was occupied by the Golden Bay hotel. But the prices for services and entertainment:

• Rent a sun lounger and umbrella-200 rubles / day, 20 rubles / hour.
• Toilet-20 rubles.
• Shower – 40 rubles.
• Foot shower-free.
• Luggage storage – 50 rubles / hour, 150 rubles/day.
• Banana riding-300 rubles.
• Riding on a tablet – 500 rubles.
• Rent a jet ski-1000 rubles/5 minutes.
• Riding a water slide-5 times 100 rubles, 10 times – 150.

• Anapa Central Beach

  The central beach of Anapa, aka Golden Sand, aka Therapeutic - this is the best beach of the resort. It stretches for a little more than a kilometer in the center of the resort area, where the entire tourist infrastructure of the center is concentrated (Central Beach on the map).

  It is completely Sandy, there are no stones at all. The sand is clean, it is constantly cleaned. Great for kids: there are places with safety fences in the water and minimum depth. And, of course, this is the most developed beach of Anapa. Along it runs the embankment street with Entertainment, cafes, souvenir shops; on the shore there are lifeguards, a huge selection of water activities, carry traditional beach fast food.

  The main disadvantage of Central Beach is its extreme overcrowding during peak season, but this is only observed closer to the main exit in the amusement park area. It is worth going a little to the side, the number of vacationers decreases sharply. And by the way, further the beach is also wider.

  

  

  

  

• Beach towards Dzhemete and Vityazevo

  Where the Central Beach ends, immediately after the stream (river Anapa) begins another sandy beach that stretches towards Dzhemete, Vityazevo, and then all the way to the resort Veselovka on the Taman Peninsula. And all this – 40 kilometers of continuous sandy coast (beach towards Jemete and Vityazevo on the map).

  This is an ideal place for those who like to walk along the shore or find a sparsely populated corner. Along the coast there are hotels, recreation centers, children's camps. There is almost no infrastructure to Dzhemete itself, only hotel deckchairs and umbrellas come across in places.

• The beach of the pension "high coast" or small bay

  • ✔ Neat Pebble Beach
  • ✔ There is everything for a relaxing holiday without frills
  • ✔ Rarely crowded with vacationers
  • ❌ Sometimes in bad weather algae accumulate near the shore.

  Despite the fact that formally the beach belongs to a boarding house, it is not a special medical or children's one, and accordingly the passage to it is free and is not limited in any way. The only restriction is the opening hours from 08:00 to 20:00, the rest of the time the passage is closed.

  The beach is not bad, but pebbly. Pebbles are small and walking on it does not hurt, but still not very suitable for children: too deep. But if you find yourself here with children, they can play in the sand in specially equipped sandboxes. On the shore there are changing cabins, showers, deck chairs and awnings (umbrellas) for rent, cafes. Water Entertainment is not enough: only catamaran rental.

  Malaya Bay is located two kilometers from the center (Malaya Bay on the map). You can get here from the Central Beach on foot along the promenade or go through the city.

  

  

  

• Winter

  • ❌ Concrete Beach with pebbles

  This is an equipped Concrete Beach. Places for recreation and the entrance to the water are made in the form of concrete slabs with loose pebbles, there is a children's descent. But since few people like to relax on concrete, there are very few vacationers here. At the service of vacationers there is a rental of sun loungers and awnings, toilet, shower, changing rooms, luggage storage, massage parlor.

  Winter beach is adjacent to the right to The Beach High beach, being its continuation (Winter Beach on the map). To get to it, you need to go down the stairs through a passage like an underground passage.

  

  

  

• High Bank

  • ✔ Few vacationers
  • ❌ Hard to get
  • ❌ Rocky and not safe

  This is a pebble beach, or rather even a stone one, because on the shore there are not neat smooth pebbles, but Stones of different sizes, including sharp edges. Therefore, this beach is suitable exclusively for adults, and it is best to go into the water in special swimming shoes, the so-called "aqua shoes". Another disadvantage is a lot of slippery algae covering the stones under water. There are no amenities and infrastructure here, the beach is almost wild.

  Another feature of the High Bank is that it is located really under the high rocky bank along the upper embankment of the street (High bank on the map). Accordingly, you can get to it only by equipped descents behind the street of workers or along the shore from the side of the Winter Beach. And this means that if you stop somewhere opposite the High Shore from the calculation to rest on it (although, who needs it...), you will have to get to the beach far around. But in fairness it should be said that the most desperate jump over the fence on the cliff along the embankment, and go down the paths, but it is dangerous.

  

• Golden Bay

  This is the only paid beach in Anapa. Of course, the legality of charging for passage to the shore is a big question, but let's leave it to the conscience of local authorities. Rest on this "golden" coast will cost 500 rubles per person. The fee includes the use of sun loungers. You can not bring drinks and food. The beach is open from 09:60 to 22:00. We do not recommend visiting it, but if you still decide to spend money, then the entrance to it is located opposite the hotel of the same name (Golden Bay on the map). At the entrance you have to pay a fee, and then take the steps far down to the beach.

  

• Beaches in Bolshoy Utrish

  • ✔ Few vacationers
  • ✔ Very clean water
  • ❌ Pebbly and Rocky, no sand
  • ❌ Far from the center of Anapa
  • ❌ Nowhere to park

  In greater Utrish there are several beaches, all pebbly or rocky. The water here is very clear, you can even go snorkeling. We recommend taking special slippers for swimming – aquashuzes. The only equipped beach with small pebbles is the central one (Central Beach of Bolshoy Utrish on the map). It has umbrellas and sun beds for rent (200 USD), a cafe, a fenced area for bathing children, changing cabins. A few more beaches belong to campsites, but the passage to them is free and free, all in accordance with the law. Further south along the shore in the utrish Nature Reserve is a nudist beach (nudist beach on the map, but to get to it, you will have to pay 100 rubles for entering the Reserve.

  

• Sukko Beach

  In the village of Sukko there is a wide shallow Pebble Beach with a length of about 500 meters. It differs from the sandy beaches of Anapa with much more transparent water. It is more suitable for swimming and recreation for adults, since the depth begins literally from the first meters from the shore. Part of the shore is occupied by the Smena children's Center, where access to outsiders is prohibited, but even with this place on the pebbles and in the water there is enough for everyone. There are changing cabins, sun beds and umbrellas for rent for 200 rubles / day, cafes, water activities, a market with tourist goods.

  From the center of Anapa here 16 kilometers (Sukko Beach on the map), which can be reached by bus No. 109 for 50 rubles or by taxi for 400 rubles.

Hotels and accommodation in Anapa and where to stay

Anapa has many accommodation options of any category and prices. You can stay in a budget room for two from 900 rubles, in a family 2+2 from 1500. For single travelers there are several hostels from 500 rubles per bed. Many guest houses here are designed for family accommodation, respectively, they have a kitchen and there are strict rules on noise and alcohol for the comfort of vacationers.

If you prefer to relax with comfort and service, then for you there are several five-star and four-star hotels with meals, swimming pools, services. There are hotels working on the system all inclusive, you can choose them from this list.

The question of where to choose a hotel in Anapa is solved very simply: the resort area here is compact, and if you want to be in the center of entertainment and not far from the beach, then just choose a place of hotel/accommodation within walking distance from the Central Beach. There are no accommodation options on the first line, but if it is important that the beach is close, keep in mind that the passages to the Central Beach are not anywhere along it, but only from Grebenskaya Street, through the amusement park and near the Anapa River. If you definitely want to stay on the first line, we advise you to consider options a little further from the center on the beach towards Djemete (see above about this beach). If you do not fundamentally rest in the center of Anapa, then you can look towards the resort areas Vityazevo, Dzhemete or Sukko.
