What to Expect and Is It Worth Visiting
Cypress Lake – one of the most striking natural attractions in the vicinity of Anapa, is located in the village of Sukko in the park Sukko. This is an artificial lake, notable for the fact that in 1934-1935 a grove of swamp cypresses was planted here, which became the hallmark of this place. They grow directly in the water at the northern end of the lake, and are usually viewed from the shore, although some tourists reach them by water.
Over the past few years, the lake and the park territory have been very well equipped: there are places for swimming, walking and cycling paths, cafes, gazebos for rent, zipline. For a walk on the lake, kayaks, boats and other swimming facilities are offered for rent. For entertainment and recreation on the territory will now have to pay, the passage to the lake and cypresses is still free.
