Lake Mochoh is a beautiful alpine lake in Dagestan with turquoise water. It is located at an altitude of 1632 meters above sea level and is surrounded by high mountains and green alpine meadows. How to visit the lake
You can plan a trip to the lake by combining it with a visit to the sights in the village of Khunzakh, which is 33 kilometers from it. The journey will take about an hour, but it's worth it, because the surrounding landscapes along the way are simply fascinating. Mochokh Lake is located near the village of Mochokh, 170 kilometers from Makhachkala, 180 kilometers from Izberbash, 33 from hunzah (lake on the map). It is easy to get to it during the day from Gunib. A relatively good primer leads here, sometimes turning into asphalt. In summer, you can drive to the lake by any car, and in winter – only by SUV.
