How to get from the airport to Kaspiysk

Uytash Airport is located just 10 kilometers from the center of Kaspiysk (airport on the map), it's a 10-20 minute drive.

The best and easiest way to go is by taxi, especially since if you order a car through Yandex, Uber or Anzhi applications, the trip will cost only 400 rubles.

In addition to taxis, there is a theoretical possibility to get from the airport much cheaper by public transport. To do this, you need to go through the parking lot from the terminal and go to the main road Airport Street (about 600 meters), and there take the bus number 320 or any other suitable bus. But this option is suitable only for tourists with a backpack.

By train to Kaspiysk

There is no railway station in Kaspiysk. Rather, there is a railway station there, but only freight, passenger trains and electric trains do not go to it. In our, perhaps subjective opinion, after Makhachkala, the movement along the Caspian seemed to us much more calm and comfortable. Drivers take their time, drive calmly and evenly, almost do not break the rules. You will experience difficulties with traffic, except in the area of the old town and near the fortress. The streets there are narrow, there are many descents and ascents, so it will not be easy to get used to it. There is also little parking space there, and if you decide to park your car somewhere and go for a walk, first look carefully to see if you have blocked someone's passage or blocked the exit from the gate.

How to get to Kaspiysk from Makhachkala

From the center of Makhachkala to the center of Kaspiysk is 20 kilometers, it is 20-30 minutes on the way. However, because of traffic jams, sometimes you have to drive for an hour. A taxi will cost from 500 rubles.
