Description and is it worth visiting
Petrosains Discovery Center is something like a science and technology museum for children and adults. Although it looks more like an entertainment and educational center than a classic museum. Similar museums of entertaining sciences exist in some Russian cities (called 'Einsteinium' and the like), but the scale here is much larger.
The exhibits here are various natural, physical, chemical, electrical, and other phenomena. Here you can see and feel what an earthquake is like on a special attraction, test yourself in turbulence conditions, go underwater, meet dinosaurs, and much more. What's especially good is that all the exhibits are meant to be touched, tried, and experienced. Overall, it will be interesting for both adults and children, but if you happen to be in Kuala Lumpur with kids, be sure to try to come here.
It's better to set aside 2-3 hours or even half a day for visiting Petrosains. There are no tour groups here; you can move around on your own and do whatever you want, the principle of operation of each exhibit is clear even without instructions. The principle of viewing the museum is like on an assembly line, i.e., you view one section of the exhibition, then move to the next one, and only that way, everything is sequential. As a rule, you cannot go back. The entire flow of visitors goes in one direction, and the exit is not where the entrance is. Some activities along the way are available for an additional fee, but you can skip them; there's plenty of interesting stuff without them. After exiting, you can visit the science gift shop, which sells educational and cognitive children's kits for learning about different phenomena. Personally, we most remember the earthquake simulator — the sensations were quite realistic, and the children were absolutely delighted.

Buying tickets with payment by Russian card or SBP is available on the website trip.com, and the prices are even lower than on the official website and at the ticket offices: adult 41 ringgit (10.34 USD) instead of 49.
🚶 How to get there
Petrosains is located on the fourth floor of the Suria KLCC shopping mall between the Petronas Towers (towers on the map).
There is a KLCC metro station here; the easiest and most convenient way is to get there via it. From the Chinatown area, you need to take the train from Pasar Seni station; from the Brickfields area, from KL Sentral. From the Bukit Bintang area, you can only take the metro by taking the monorail and transferring to the metro at KL Sentral, but that's a big detour, so it's easier to walk or take a taxi for 10 ringgit.
