A complete list of countries for which a selection of cities, resorts, or islands with tide charts is available. You can also use the map of resorts for which tide tables are available. If the place you need is not in the list, you can choose the nearest suitable one on the map below, since within a few hundred kilometers the tide times differ insignificantly.

Why do you need to know the time of high and low tides at resorts?

At beach resorts, some beaches are not suitable for swimming at all times. The thing is that during strong low tides, the water level on some shallow beaches can drop so low that swimming becomes simply impossible. At such moments the water goes very far from the shore, sometimes exposing an ugly bottom relief, leaving mud, debris, and seaweed. Less often it is the opposite, when during high tide the water level rises so much that the beach is completely hidden, leaving no room even to sunbathe.

Using the tide tables via the links above by country and resort, you can determine how strong the high or low tide will be and at what time their peaks occur. The tide forecast is available for six months ahead. You can "scroll" the display forward or backward by dates using the buttons at the bottom of the chart.

Keep in mind that on some mobile devices with a narrow screen, the chart may not fit fully within the screen width. In that case, you can "scroll" the chart by swiping right or left with your finger.
