The Chapel of Panteleimon the Healer is a small church complex on the outskirts of the Old Crimea. It includes a chapel, a font and a holy spring, which is famous among believers for its healing properties.
The first chapel on this site was built in 1826 not by chance. Here they found an icon with the image of a saint, hence the name. At the beginning of the XX century, like all wooden buildings, it burned down from an accidental spark. It was restored only in the next century, and today there is a chapel built in 2001.
The territory of the complex is well-groomed and tidy, there is a place to sit down and relax from the hustle and bustle. In the church shop you can buy candles and order prayer services. The water in the spring, according to tourists, is very life-giving and healing, but, unfortunately, in the summer the spring may dry up altogether, or you will have to wait a long time until the water is full.

🚶 How to get there
The chapel is located on the outskirts of the Old Crimea, a dirt road leads to it from Green Lane and further across the field (chapel on the map). In rainy weather it is difficult to get to the Chapel, because there is a dirt road leading to it and it is very eroded. Therefore, it is better to park the car on the outskirts of the city, for example on Yuzhnaya Street, and walk 400 meters directly to the chapel.
