The coastal strip of Kabardinka stretches for more than six kilometers, but not all parts of the coast are suitable for swimming and comfortable beach holidays. So, part of the beaches is inaccessible to vacationers because of obstacles in the form of fences of sanatoriums, boarding houses, campsites, which sometimes illegally charge a fee for passage through their territory. There are also legally closed beaches for children's health centers and therapeutic beaches. And yet, part of the coast is simply dangerous for swimming because of too rocky shores and steep cliffs, making the descent on them dangerous. Nevertheless, a free and comfortable place to relax and swim can be found even at the peak of the season in August.

Almost all beaches in Kabardinka are pebbly, there are quite a few sandy-pebbly with gray sand, and there are no pure sandy ones at all. The depth is quite large everywhere, but the slope of the bottom is uniform without sharp cliffs. So if you like to relax with children on clean yellow sand and in shallow water, it is better to go to Anapa, for example. Another trouble that is waiting here-small and large stones at the bottom. They come across everywhere, but especially a lot of them on wild and sanatorium beaches. Directly on the central beach there are fewer stones, the bottom is cleaned here.

Infrastructure and entertainment on the beaches of Kabardinka are presented in full, but, again, not all beaches are the same. The most developed are the Central City and other beaches in the center, and the beach of the pension "Victoria" on the outskirts is well equipped. They have everything you need for recreation, and along the central one there is also a beautiful embankment with cafes, restaurants, Entertainments. • Central Beach

  In the central and most developed part of Kabardinka there are several beaches with a total length of almost a kilometer (Central on the map). They are separated by concrete breakwaters and have different names because of their belonging to sanatoriums or children's health camps. For example, there is a beach DOL "Druzhny", "Sunny", "Kirovets" and just the Central City. But the essence of their name does not change, so in order not to confuse you, we give a general description of the beaches in the center. After all, for recreation, the name does not play a role at all, and if for some reason one of them does not suit you, it is easy to switch to another, everything is located nearby.

  Despite the "postscript" of individual sites to sanatoriums, there are no problems with the passage, everything is free. Only on children's beaches there is a time limit: access is prohibited during swimming for children from 08:30 to 12:30 and from 16:00 to 19:00.

  So, the central beach is one of the most exemplary-developed and equipped among all the resorts in Greater Gelendzhik. Along the coast throughout the center there is a beautiful equipped embankment with entertainments, cafes, kebabs, there are places of rest. There are also distributors of excursions, intermediaries for renting housing, excursions are sold, bicycles, gyroscuters are offered for rent, etc.as mentioned above, there is even a zone of free Wi-Fi and charging for phones. In general, life here is in full swing.

  But let's go down from the embankment to the beaches themselves in the center. They are completely pebbly and small-pebbly, only in places there is sand at the very edge of the water and under water. Although it is worth noting that the situation with the presence of sand can vary from year to year, it all depends on how the beaches are prepared for the beginning of the tourist season. The depth here is mostly large, but at the left end opposite Mira street there is a shallow beach DOL "Smena" with a fence in the water, perfect for swimming with children. Well, perhaps the most important drawback of the central beaches is their overcrowding with vacationers. Even if you take a place early in the morning for the whole day, this does not guarantee that you will not have neighbors with whom you will have to push elbows. Save only zones with paid sun beds and canopies, but for such comfort you will have to pay from 500 rubles/day for one chaise longue and a table under the canopy.

  

  

  

• The beach of the pension "Victoria"

  • ✔ A small-pebble beach, there are not many stones at the bottom

  • ❌ Little parking space for personal vehicles

  Pension "Victoria" is located far on the outskirts of Kabardinka (the beach of the pension "Victoria" on the map), and this is probably the best beach outside the center of the resort. You can get here by taxi, own transport (there is a problem with parking), any bus in the direction of Novorossiysk, or walk four kilometers from the center.

  This is a small pebble beach with a length of no more than 100 meters. Moreover, it is not really limited to this length, just on these 100 meters the entire infrastructure is located, and then an empty shore extends for several hundred meters. The depth here is great, besides there are large boulders around the edges, so be careful, especially with children. From the infrastructure there is everything you need: rental of sun loungers, lifeguards, changing cabins, cafes, draft drinks and fast food, water Entertainments and rental. The central developed part of this beach during the high season is crowded with vacationers, but you can walk along the shore a little to the side.

  

• Beaches of boarding houses and sanatoriums

  On the right side of the central one in the direction of Novorossiysk (cm. on the map) and on the left side in the direction of Cape Doob (cm. on the map) there is a chain of sanatoriums, boarding houses, recreation centers and campsites. Unfortunately, these objects mostly block the passage to the shore, fences and checkpoints are installed everywhere. Only in some cases it is possible to pass through their territory with the permission of the guards or through rare passages between them. Some of the sanatoriums, by the way, are abandoned and closed.

  It is difficult to call these beaches attractive: basically they are not in the best condition, the bottom is not cleaned of stones, old concrete structures or steep rocky cliffs are on the shore. However, they have a big plus: they are not crowded with vacationers, as in the center. So if on vacation you get tired of the overcrowding of the central beach, you can go to one of the sanatoriums.

  The beach of the boarding house "Kabardinka" stands out for its cleanliness and equipment (cm. on the map). it is considered one of the best in the resort. But the passage to it through the territory of the boarding house costs 200 rubles, or you can go "hare" along the shore.

  

  

  

• Wild beaches towards Novorossiysk

  Many kilometers of wild beaches stretch under a cliff towards Novorossiysk (wild beaches towards Novorossiysk). You can only get there by transport, walking is too far. You can take any bus in the direction of Novorossiysk or take a private car to one of the descents from the M4-don highway to the shore. There are descents near captain Zubkov's battery and observation decks, and you can also leave vehicles there. You will have to go down on foot along the trails, there are no exits.

  These wild beaches will suit you if you are an ardent lover of wildlife and secluded places, and relaxing naked. There are rarely other vacationers and beautiful views. But at the same time there is no infrastructure at all, the beaches are pebbly and Rocky, the bottom is dotted with large and small stones.

Hotels and accommodation in Kabardinka and where to stay

The village of Kabardinka, or rather it is even a village, is not officially divided into districts. But for vacationers it is a fundamentally important question in which place of the resort to choose a hotel. The village stretches along the coast for more than six kilometers, and if you choose an unsuccessful place, you can completely spoil the experience of rest.

• The central part of the resort. If you want to be in the center of events and close to the most equipped beaches, then it is better to choose a place for a hotel or accommodation in the central part and within walking distance to the central beaches (Central on the map. It is here that the entire urban and tourist infrastructure, as well as entertainment, is concentrated. The disadvantage when placing in this part is only that the beaches here are very crowded.
• Areas of sanatoriums. From the center, the resort stretches along the coast in each direction. This is mainly a zone of sanatoriums, boarding houses and campsites with its own territory, through which you will have to literally break through to the beaches. And there are very few options for accommodation in these places, basically you can settle only in these very sanatoriums.
• Riviera district or Juniper Park. This is a relatively new built-up area on the far outskirts of the center near the beach of the pension "Victoria" (the beach of the pension "Victoria" on the map. There are several accommodation options and a great beach. But infrastructure and entertainment are almost absent. If you decide to stop here, then you will have to go to the center every time by taxi or private transport.
