What to Expect and Is It Worth Visiting
Mirror Rock - an amazing natural attraction, a smooth sheer rock up to 32 meters high and stretching according to various estimates from one to three kilometers. The most interesting and impressive part of it has a length of a couple of hundred meters, and it is worth seeing in the first place, and not to go all three kilometers along. Local tourists say that at certain times of the day, when the sun shines on it vertically, it reflects the light of quartz rocks like a mirror, which is why it got its name. But we (the authors of the site) did not wait for this effect, so we will not say unequivocally that this is not a legend.

🚶 How to get there
The Mirror Rock is located south of the tourist area three and a half kilometers from its center (Mirror rock on the map). There are no pointers to the sights, you need to use the Navigator or applications with maps on your smartphone, we advise Organic Maps or OSM. There are several trails leading to the cliff, including very steep ones with slopes up to 30%, which is a lot for unprepared tourists. Therefore, if you do not want to engage in unexpected "rock climbing", we advise you to follow the main wide path along Erik Maltsev from Shchors Street. The path will pass by glandular spring where you can collect mineral water. Further on the navigator you need to turn to the branch of the trail along another tributary directly to the rock. After exploring the rock, you can return the same way to the Maltsev peak and continue the walk to the psechiako waterfall (Devil's mouth), or go further along a very steep path to the observation deck on the Koth ridge between the Sapun and Klyuchevaya mountains. It is better to go for a walk in good sports or trekking shoes and in good weather, because after the rains there are a lot of puddles and mud, it is slippery to go. For the whole walk with a visit to the waterfall it is better to lay half a day.
