Talibon is a city in the North Bohol Islands 115 kilometers from Tagbilaran and Panglao Islands (Talibon on the map). It is unremarkable for tourists and serves only as a transshipment point, since there is a seaport here. It is convenient to arrive here from Cebu City if you plan to continue your trip to the center of the island in Danao City, to the beach resort Anda, or to the Chocolate Hills in Carmen city, bypassing Tagbilaran.
Ferries to Port Talibon run once a day from Cebu at 09:00. Gabisan Shipping Lines and VG Shipping operate along the route. Both companies are small and have no websites, so be sure to check the schedule locally or on the official Bohol Tourism website - http://www.boholtourismph.com/port-of-talibon/.
Other ferry flights to the island of Bohol can be booked using the links from this schedule:
Three kilometers from the port there is a bus station from where buses leave for the bus station in Tagbilaran Via Tubigon and Carmen. To get to the beach resort of Anda, you will have to hire a tricycle or car to the port of Ubay, where you can take a bus to Tagbilaran, passing by anda. There you will need to again transfer to a tricycle or car, and already get directly to the beach.
Also in Talibon there are several motorcycle rental offices. Rent will cost from 400 pesos (from 6.48 USD). As a pledge, they ask to leave a document. To manage a Motobike, national rights of a new model issued in Russia are sufficient, since the country has signed the Vienna Convention on road traffic, and undertakes to recognize National vehicles of other countries participating in the convention. But you must have an open category A, otherwise there may be problems when meeting with the police. Ideally, you can make yourself an international driver's license in the form of a book, which is issued without passing exams through the website of public services for 1600 rubles.
