To enter the Philippines 5 days before arrival, each traveler must fill out the eTravel form on the website. This form was introduced to replace the previously existing One health pass, and now the One health pass website is not working and will not work. The eTravel form is simpler and introduced after the relaxation of anti-covid rules when entering the Philippines.
After filling out the eTravel form, you will receive a certificate with a QR code and a unique link with your certificate page, which are checked when boarding at the departure airport, as well as when entering the country before or during passport control. The certificate can be saved to your phone as an image file. For this, a button is provided on the site when viewing a ready-made certificate. If you don't have eTravel, you won't be allowed to land in the country either.
ETravel has such an attribute as color. The eTravel you fill in may turn out to be green, and then you will be allowed through everywhere without questions. If it turns out to be red, then you will have to present an antigen test for the absence of Covid. Therefore, when filling out, it is important to try to get a green certificate at the exit.
Here's how to fill in eTravel and how to make it turn green:
- The form is filled out on the website – https://etravel.gov.ph/
- The form is filled out for everyone, including infants.
- The form becomes available for filling out no earlier than 5 days before arrival (not departure). If you try to do this earlier, in the calendar on the first page you simply will not be able to select the arrival date later than in 5 days.
- After filling it out, you can edit your certificate if you made a mistake or it turned out to be red.
- To fill out the form, you will need to enter passport and personal data, arrival flight data, vaccination information, place of residence in the Philippines (hotel).
- In order for the certificate to be green, in step 5, answer the questions "History of exposure to known probable and/or confirmed Covid-19 case 14 days before the onset of signs and symptoms? Or if asymptomatic, 14 days before swabbing or specimen collection? Or any knowledge of being exposed to a person diagnosed with monkeypox?" and "Have you been sick in the past 30 days?" be sure to answer "No".
- In order for the certificate to be green, you will need to enter vaccination data at step 5. If you have a full vaccination, then enter the data as is. From the list you will need to select the name of the vaccine there are also Russian ones. According to the Philippines, some travelers enter arbitrary data into the vaccination data, even about non-existent vaccination, and receive a green certificate. And this is basically a working scheme, but if they decide to check you more carefully, they may ask you to show the certificate before checking in for the departure flight or when entering the country. This is an unpleasant moment, but it is solved by the fact that immediately at the airport you can correct (edit) the certificate and pass an antigen test instead of vaccination. Now the antigen test is done at departure airports from 1250 rubles, the result is in 20 minutes, and you can also do it on arrival at the airport of the Philippines (600 pesos / 9.71 USD., the result in 30 minutes).
- If you do not have a vaccination certificate and do not want to enter "fake" vaccination data, then in step 5 select the option "Do you have a negative Antigen test taken within 24 hours prior to departure from your port of origin?" to "Yes". Of course, you will need to do an antigen test no earlier than 24 hours before departure. As stated above, it is easy to do at the airport.
- In step # 4, you will need to specify your place of residence in the Philippines. To do this, you need to select a hotel from the list, but of course not all hotels are represented there. If you already have a reservation and you do not find your option in the list, you can specify any other in the city where you plan to be in the first days after arrival. This is not a problem at all, since there is no requirement to have a reservation to enter the Philippines, it's just that these data are indicated so that you can be found if necessary.
- And finally, if you still received a red certificate at the last stage, possibly due to an error when entering data, then you can edit the certificate using the link that will be on the certificate screen immediately after filling it out. If you "skip" this link, because for some reason it appears only once, then you can try to fill out another certificate.
- Well, if nothing works out at all, go as it is with red. After all, this does not mean that you will not be missed, but they can simply check your documents and the anti-gent test in more detail.
