Mantigue Island and reserve (Mantigue Sanctuary, aka Magsaysay island) - a small island only a few hundred meters in diameter – the best place for snorkeling and coastal diving on Camiguin. In addition, around the perimeter of the island there is a first-class sandy beach, and in the center there is a palm grove and a village. There are gazebos for recreation, and a simple beach infrastructure in the form of cafes and trays with drinks, rental of beach umbrellas and mattresses. Snorkeling can be done near the shore along the coral reef. If you do not have your own mask, you can rent here for 150 pesos.

🚶 How to get there
Mantig is located four kilometers from the east coast of Camiguin (Hibok-Hibok on the map). The easiest way to get to it is with excursions offered by local travel agencies and hotels. Such tours cost from 1300 pesos per person, and even include lunch. But you can drive yourself on a rented motorbike or local transport to the pier in the village of San Roque, and there Hire a boat for 6 people entirely for 1200 pesos. If you are alone, then, as an option, you can wait at the pier for other tourists and share the trip with them.
