How to get to Koh Chang from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport?

From Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), the most convenient way to get to Koh Chang is by special direct transfer bus, which includes the ferry crossing. This is the optimal option if you are arriving and want to go directly to the island without going into the city.

• Departure: Twice a day — at 07:00 and at 10:00.
• Location: Counter at exit No. 8 on the first floor of the airport terminal.
• Cost: from 650 baht (about $18).
• What's included: You will be taken to the pier, transferred by ferry, and dropped off at the company's office on the island or even at a specific hotel on the main beaches.

The second option is to take a taxi right at the airport. The trip to the pier will take about 5 hours and cost from 4000 baht (about $110) per car. This is a good choice for those arriving in a small group or with children and luggage. The main thing is to calculate the time: if your flight arrives after 12:00-13:00, there is a risk of missing the last ferry (departs at 18:30).

The third, least convenient option is to take public transport from the airport to Ekkamai bus station (by Airport Rail Link + BTS) and from there take direct bus No. 999 or a bus to Trat. This will take much more time and effort after the flight.
