The easiest and most budget-friendly way to get from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) to Jomtien is bus No. 389 of Roong Reuang Coach company. It departs from the first floor, exit No. 8, every hour and a half from 6:00 to 22:00. The ticket to Jomtien costs 162 baht (to the center – 139 baht), travel time is about 1.5–2 hours. The bus arrives directly at the Jomtien bus station at the beginning of the beach street – from there you can walk to most hotels or take a songthaew for 15 baht.

There is also a more comfortable option – Bell Service: from 216 baht + 120 baht for delivery to the hotel, but they also depart from exit No. 8.

If you arrive at Don Mueang (DMK), there are no direct buses to Jomtien. You can get to Suvarnabhumi by free shuttle (if you have a departure ticket) or by bus No. 554/555 (36 baht), and then transfer to bus 389. Or order a taxi – from 1600 baht.

From the center of Bangkok it is convenient to take a bus from the eastern terminal Ekkamai (148 baht) or northern Mo Chit (158 baht) to the North Pattaya bus station, then a songthaew to Jomtien (15 baht with a transfer at Thepprasit). You can also take the Airport Rail Link to Suvarnabhumi and transfer to bus 389.

Tip: if you are flying directly to Jomtien, choose bus 389 from Suvarnabhumi. Schedule and tickets can be found at airportpattayabus.com.
