How to get to the metro from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Bangkok?

You can get to the metro from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Bangkok via the Airport Rail Link (ARL). This is the fastest and best value for money way to get into the city. The station is located on the ground floor of the airport.

Trains run to two terminal stations: Makassan (where you can transfer to the Bangkok MRT subway) and Phaya Thai (where you can transfer to the BTS skytrain). Travel time is about 15 minutes, and the fare is only 45 baht one way. This is much cheaper than a taxi and helps avoid traffic jams.
