You can get from Pattaya to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport by bus in several ways. The most popular and budget option is the regular bus No. 389 of Roong Reuang company. There is also a more comfortable Bell Service with hotel pickup, and the cheapest government bus No. 999, which runs only 4 times a day. We have collected for you the current schedule and prices for 2026.
Bus No. 389 (Roong Reuang) from Pattaya to the airport
This is a direct and the most common route. The buses are large, with air conditioning and luggage space. Travel time is about 1.5–2 hours. They depart from two stations in Pattaya:
- North Pattaya Bus Station — ticket price from 139 baht. Schedule: from 06:30 to 18:30, departure every hour.
- Jomtien Bus Station — ticket price from 162 baht. Schedule: from 06:00 to 22:00, departure every hour.
The bus to Jomtien goes through North and Central Pattaya, so you can also board it at the North Station. Tickets are sold at the ticket offices at the departure stations. For more details on the location of the stations, see the map of Pattaya.
Bell Service — bus with airport drop-off
If you do not want to go to the bus station yourself, Bell Service offers a convenient service: they pick you up from your hotel in Pattaya and take you directly to Suvarnabhumi Airport. Ticket price — from 216 baht. Departure schedule from Pattaya: 08:30, 10:30, 12:30, 14:30, 16:30, 18:00 (schedule may change, it is better to check on the official website). The price includes hotel transfer, which is very convenient if you live far from the bus station.
Government bus No. 999 (Transport Co.)
The cheapest option — only 122 baht. However, it runs only 4 times a day: 07:30, 11:30, 13:30, 17:30. The bus goes along Sukhumvit Road and makes stops in Pattaya: at the intersection of North Pattaya, Central Pattaya, South Pattaya and Thepprasit. This is a passing route to the Koh Chang piers, so seats may be occupied. Tickets are sold at the North Station or at stops along the route.
Tip: If you are flying on a night flight, note that the last bus No. 389 to Jomtien leaves at 22:00. At night, you can get from Pattaya to the airport only by taxi (from 1200 baht) or by booking a transfer. Read more about all options, including night transfer, in our big article.
