You can travel by metro between the airports, but the route requires transfers and purchasing different tickets. Here is a step-by-step guide:

  1. At Suvarnabhumi, go down to the lower floor to the ARL airport metro station. Trains run every 10–23 minutes from 06:00 to 00:00. The ticket cost to the final station Phaya Thai is 45 baht, travel time is 26 minutes.
  2. At Phaya Thai station, transfer via the covered walkway to the BTS Skytrain station with the same name.
  3. Purchase a BTS ticket to Yæk Kor Por Aor station. Trains run every 2–8 minutes, cost is 55 baht, travel time is 40 minutes.
  4. From Yæk Kor Por Aor station to Don Mueang terminal, take a taxi (about 150 baht, 15 minutes) or use local transport.

The total cost of the trip will be from 250 baht, and the time is 1–1.5 hours. This method is convenient if you want to avoid traffic jams, but it is not suitable for travelers with a lot of luggage or at night when the metro is not operating.

Before the trip, check the current schedule on the official metro websites or in our guides.
