This is the complete opposite of the quiet imperial tombs and pagodas typically associated with Hue. Here you can cheaply drink local beer (from 20,000 dong), observe local youth and tourists, and recharge with the energy of modern Vietnam.

If you are looking for a more peaceful and authentic evening, it is better to choose a walk along the Perfume River embankment or dinner in one of the traditional restaurants. But to spend a couple of hours in an informal setting after sightseeing, Walking Street is an excellent option.
