Yes, it is worth it if you want to see the modern, noisy, and fun side of Hue and feel the atmosphere of nightlife. However, this place is not suitable for everyone and not for every mood.

Walking Street (Vo Thi Sau Street) is the lively heart of the city's night entertainment. After sunset, it turns into a pedestrian zone filled with bar tables, loud music, and a bustling crowd. This is the complete opposite of the quiet imperial tombs and pagodas typically associated with Hue. Here you can cheaply drink local beer (from 20,000 dong), observe local youth and tourists, and recharge with the energy of modern Vietnam.

But be prepared for a specific atmosphere: in some establishments, there may be quite liberated entertainment, such as dancing on tables. This is not a place for a quiet romantic dinner or cultural immersion. We also do not recommend going there with small children.

If you are looking for a more peaceful and authentic evening, it is better to choose a walk along the Perfume River embankment or dinner in one of the traditional restaurants. But to spend a couple of hours in an informal setting after sightseeing, Walking Street is an excellent option.
