How to get from Unawatuna to Galle by bus?

This is a very simple route by local standards, which even a tourist with minimal independent travel experience can manage, you just need to be able to navigate a bit.

But buses do not run directly from the tourist area of Unawatuna. For this, you first need to walk to the main Matara road. This is about one kilometer even from the farthest point of the beach and area. When you reach the road, you just need to take any passing bus heading towards Galle. Actually, any!!! For reference, when you exit Unawatuna onto the road, you need to go to Galle to the left.

Just remember that buses do not always stop even at stops. So when you see a bus flying towards you, wave your hand, and it will stop. Pay the fare to the conductor.

If you need to get to Galle Fort, you should get off at the bus station and near the railway station. Even if the bus is passing through, it still goes to Galle bus station. Or just track the movement on your smartphone's navigation, and get off where you need to.
