Getting from central Pattaya to Jomtien Beach by public transport is very easy and cheap. You need to take a songthaew that runs along Thappraya Road. This road connects central Pattaya and Jomtien. The fare will be the standard 15-20 baht.
You can find such a songthaew at the intersection of South Road and Thappraya Road (terminal on the map). Songthaews heading to Jomtien usually turn from South Road onto Thappraya Road. If you are on Walking Street or the promenade, you first need to walk or ride to this intersection. The final stop in Jomtien is near the intersection with Dongtan Beach Road.
To avoid confusion, we recommend studying the tuk-tuk route map we prepared in our article: Transport in Pattaya: everything about taxis, tuk-tuks and rentals with current prices.
