Where is the best place to exchange currency at Bangkok Airport?

At Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport, where most flights from Russia and other CIS countries arrive, there are many currency exchange options. You can exchange almost anything; we even saw rubles being exchanged, though at a very unfavorable rate, as is usual with rubles in Thailand. However, foreign currencies like dollars, euros, or yuan can be exchanged here at a very good rate, the main thing is to know the right places:
The most unfavorable rates are offered at exchange counters located in the airport's arrival area before the baggage claim zone, where you'll go immediately after disembarking the plane. The rate is slightly better when you enter the arrival hall after passport control and customs, where there are ATMs, taxi stands, car rental counters, etc. But we also advise against rushing to exchange here.
The most favorable exchange rates can be found on the lowest floor of the airport near the Airport Rail Link or ARL station. Just follow the signs to ARL to the very bottom, and you'll come across exchange counters from several banks and chain exchange points, where the rates are no worse than in the city. The orange chain exchange Superrich is particularly popular, but there are two more exchange counters from a bank nearby, with exactly the same rates. The only downside is that these points do not operate at night; currency exchange is only available from 05:30 to 23:30.
But it's important! Some tourists mistakenly exchange money at the purple bank exchange counter also near the airport metro, but it is located a bit earlier at the turn before these favorable exchange counters. Don't mix them up! You need exactly those exchange points shown in the photo:
Personally, we have always exchanged money upon arrival for many years only at the aforementioned exchange counters, and always get one of the best rates. You can find better rates only in central Bangkok at chain Superrich, and in rare exchange counters at major resorts like Pattaya or Phuket. If you plan to go directly from the airport to Koh Chang, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Krabi, Hua Hin, Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Koh Phangan, then you can safely exchange most of your cash for your trip at the airport, and exchange the rest as needed on the spot.
