Are there beaches in Kuala Lumpur and where is the nearest sea?

In Kuala Lumpur itself there are no beaches. The city is located deep in the peninsula, at the confluence of rivers, and has no access to the sea. The nearest coast is about 35 km from the city, but it is not a resort area, but industrial and port districts. The first more or less suitable place for swimming is the city of Port Dickson, which is about 100 km from the capital. However, the beaches there are not the best in Malaysia. If you want to combine a visit to Kuala Lumpur with a beach holiday, it is best to go to the islands of Penang, Langkawi or Pangkor. You can get there by bus or train, and then by ferry.
