How much does snorkeling and diving cost on Ko Lipe?

Active sea recreation is one of the main reasons for visiting Ko Lipe. Prices for snorkeling and diving here are quite affordable, especially when compared to the level of other expenses on the island.

Entertainment prices in 2026:

• Snorkeling mask and tube rental: 100 baht/day.
• Group island tour with snorkeling (half-day): from 500 baht.
• Full-day tour with lunch: 700–1000 baht.
• Private boat for a full day (up to 6 people): from 2000 baht (negotiable).
• Introductory dive (Fun dive): from 2800 baht.
• Open Water Diver course (training): 12000–15000 baht.

Important point: If you plan to dive in the waters of Tarutao National Park, in addition to the standard entrance fee (200 baht), you will need to pay an additional 200 baht for a diving permit.

Besides marine activities, on the island you can visit Thai massage (from 300 baht/hour) or Thai boxing matches, which take place on Saturdays at Bonus Resort (entrance 500–800 baht).
