Entry to Ko Lipe costs 200 Thai baht for adults and 100 baht for children. This is a fee for visiting the Tarutao Marine National Park, which includes the island. It can be paid only in cash immediately after passing through passport control, at the rangers' booth on the pier.
Important! It's better to prepare the exact amount in Thai baht. Although Malaysian ringgit is also accepted (about 35 MYR), the exchange rate may be unfavorable. Cards are not accepted for payment. Keep the receipt you receive β it may be requested when traveling to other islands in the park, such as Ko Adang.
Also, keep in mind that if you plan to go scuba diving within the park, you will need to pay an additional 200 baht (100 baht for children).
