Are there supermarkets and shopping malls on Koh Lipe: where to buy food and goods?

There are no shopping malls on Koh Lipe and none are expected—the island is small, and malls simply wouldn't fit here. However, supermarkets (in our understanding, grocery stores) do exist, and they are even quite decent. We regularly visited two of them and recommend them to you.
Main grocery spots:
- Market — the largest store on the island. It's not on the main street but a bit off to the side, near Ricci House Resort (landmark — the sign "Market" without extra names). Here, there is a huge selection: vegetables, fruits, meat, semi-finished products, alcohol, household chemicals. Prices are lower than at 7-11, and even lower than in many cafes. We bought water, yogurts, ready-made meals here that can be heated in a microwave (available right in the store).
- Patt Market — located right on Walking Street, closer to Pattaya Beach. Slightly smaller than Market, but still has a good assortment. Prices are a bit higher than at Market, but still cheaper than 7-11. There are tables in front of the store—you can immediately snack on what you bought.
- 7-Eleven — two stores, but they are more for small purchases (water, chips, SIM cards). For serious shopping, we went to Market.
What else? There are small shops with fruits and vegetables at the market (also on Walking Street, in the evening), but prices there are often higher than in supermarkets. Sometimes local residents sell fish directly from boats—you can buy fresh tuna for 300 baht/kg.
Shopping malls? No, not even close. At most—a couple of clothing and souvenir stores. If you need real shopping, only on the mainland (for example, in Hat Yai) or on Langkawi (that's Malaysia).
👍 Our choice: Market on Sunrise. There, prices are reasonable, and the selection is good. We bought everything there for a picnic on the wild beach: a thermal bag, ice, fruits, snacks. A full-fledged bypass maneuver for budget savings.
