How long does it take to walk between beaches on Ko Lipe?

Between the main beaches of Ko Lipe — Pattaya, Sunrise, and Sunset — it takes about 10-15 minutes on foot. The island is very compact, and all key locations are within walking distance of each other.

Here are approximate walking routes and travel times:

• From Pattaya Beach to Sunrise Beach: Takes about 10 minutes. You need to go up from the shore to the main pedestrian street Walking Street, walk along it towards the east of the island, and turn towards the sea.
• From Pattaya Beach to Sunset Beach: Takes about 10-15 minutes. From Walking Street, head west, past the market, and then along the path.
• From Sunrise Beach to Sunset Beach: This is the longest overland route — about 15-20 minutes through the center of the island or a bit longer if you take the northern trail along the coast past hotel beaches (Ao Ta Lo So, Izumi).

Thanks to such short distances, you can easily combine relaxation on different beaches in one day. For example, sunbathe on the calm Sunrise, have lunch on Walking Street, and in the evening go to watch the sunset on Sunset — all without the need for transportation.
