According to our experience, Sberbank's 'Mir' cards stopped being accepted on the platform in 2026, even if they worked before. However, this does not mean that booking payment is impossible. Here's what you can do:

• Try another Russian bank card. Trip.com accepts not only 'Mir' but also previously issued Mastercard and Visa cards from other banks. Payments have been successfully made with cards from T-Bank (formerly Tinkoff), VTB, Sovcombank, Russian Standard, and virtual Visa from Yoomoney.
• Use payment via SBP (Fast Payment System) by QR code. This is the most reliable and modern method that has appeared on Trip.com. It allows you to pay directly from your account in any Russian bank, bypassing issues with the card itself.
• Check alternative methods: try paying through the mobile app instead of the website (or vice versa), make sure that online purchases are allowed in your card settings, and try changing the payment currency to rubles.

If none of the options work, consider Russian alternatives for booking, such as Aviasales, Ostrovok or Yandex.Travel.
