Sinai stamp (Sinai Only) is a special mark in the passport that allows tourists from certain countries to stay in the territory of South Sinai (resorts from Sharm el-Sheikh to Taba) without paying for a visa. This is not a visa, but a permit for visa-free entry valid for 15 days. The stamp is placed free of charge at passport control upon arrival at Sharm el-Sheikh or Nuweiba airports, at Nuweiba seaport, or at the Taba border crossing with Israel.

It is important to remember that the stamp's validity is limited only to the Sinai Peninsula. With it, you will not be able to travel to Cairo, Luxor, or the pyramids. If such plans exist, you will need to obtain a full Egyptian visa.

Attention! At Sharm el-Sheikh airport, tourists are sometimes deceived: people posing as representatives of tour operators may demand 2-5 dollars for filling out an immigration card. You do not need to pay anything! The card forms are freely available, and if they are not thereβ€”just go to the passport control window and ask for a form. You can fill it out yourself in a couple of minutes.
