If you have arrived at Ho Chi Minh City International Airport (SGN) and want to go directly to Nha Trang, you have several options, but there are no direct buses from the airport.

The fastest and most convenient way after a long flight is a domestic flight. At Ho Chi Minh City airport, you will need to transfer from the international terminal (International) to the domestic terminal (Domestic, terminals T1 or T3). It is recommended to allow at least 5 hours for the connection. Direct flights to Nha Trang (CXR) are operated by Vietnam Airlines, VietjetAir, and others. Tickets can be purchased in advance on Aviasales or Trip.com.

If you do not want to fly or cannot, follow this plan:

  1. Get from the airport to the center of Ho Chi Minh City. This can be done by taxi (from 100,000 dong) or city bus (5,000 – 15,000 dong). Detailed instructions are available in our guide to Ho Chi Minh City airport.
  2. In the center, buy a bus ticket to Nha Trang. Go to the tourist district (District 1, Pham Ngu Lao street). There, at bus company offices (e.g., FUTA Bus Lines), you can buy a ticket for the nearest overnight sleeper bus. This is the most budget-friendly option.

Alternative for groups: You can order a private transfer-taxi directly from the airport. For 4 people, this will cost from $150 (about $37.5 per person). You can order on websites like Kiwitaxi or Intui.travel.

We have explained each method in detail in our comprehensive guide. We recommend reading the article How to get to Nha Trang from Ho Chi Minh City and the airport to choose the optimal route for yourself.
