You can get from Ho Chi Minh City Airport (SGN) to the resort towns of Mui Ne or Phan Thiet by direct minivans, taxi/transfer, or with a transfer in the city center.
1. Direct minivan from the airport:
During the daytime, at the exit from the domestic terminal (across the road), there are minibuses that go directly to Mui Ne/Phan Thiet with delivery to the hotel. This is the most convenient way after arrival.
- Cost: from 500,000 dong (about 1500 rubles).
- Travel time: about 4-5 hours.
- Important: Minivans depart when full. You can check the schedule and availability on the website 12go.asia, but payment with Russian cards does not work there.
2. Taxi or private transfer:
This is the fastest and most comfortable, but also the most expensive option. You can order a car at the airport counter, catch a taxi, or book a transfer online in advance.
- Taxi/transfer cost: from 2,000,000 dong and above (from 6000 rubles).
- You can order a transfer with a fixed price and meet-and-greet service, for example, on Kiwitaxi.
3. Via Ho Chi Minh City center (the cheapest option):
If you didn't find a direct minivan or arrived at night:
- Travel from the airport to the tourist area of Ho Chi Minh City (by bus No. 152/109 or taxi).
- In the Pham Ngu Lao street area, buy a ticket for an intercity bus to Mui Ne/Phan Thiet. The lowest prices are from the company Futa Bus Lines — from 200,000 dong with delivery to the hotel.
Tip: If you're running out of energy and the direct minivan doesn't suit your schedule, sometimes it's easier and not much more expensive to take a taxi to a nearby hotel at the airport, spend the night, and leave in the morning with a fresh mind.
