How to get from Ho Chi Minh City airport to the city center cheaply?

The cheapest way to get from Tan Son Nhat Airport (SGN) to the center of Ho Chi Minh City is by city bus. The trip will cost only 5,000 – 15,000 Vietnamese dong (about 15-45 rubles).

Here are the main routes:

• Bus No. 152: Runs from the international terminal T2 and the old domestic terminal T1. Cost — 5,000 dong. Operates from 06:00 to 19:00, runs frequently. The route passes through the tourist area, past the famous Ben Thanh Market and further along Tran Hung Dao Street. Travel time — 30-40 minutes.
• Bus No. 109: Runs from the new domestic terminal T3. Cost — 15,000 dong. Operates from 06:00 to 21:30, interval 30-60 minutes. This bus goes to the final stop right in the tourist area of Ho Chi Minh City, which is very convenient.

Bus stops are located right outside the terminals. Payment is made to the driver or conductor upon entry. Additional fees may be charged for large luggage.

If you need to get to a specific hotel in the tourist area (Pham Ngu Lao Street and around), bus No. 152 or No. 109 is the perfect choice. Just ask the driver or other passengers to tell you where to get off.
