Getting to An Hoi Island in Hoi An is very easy, as it is located right in the city center, across the river from the historic quarter. The best and most scenic way is to walk across the An Hoi Bridge pedestrian bridge (also known as the Hoi An Lantern Bridge). This bridge is located next to the famous landmark, the Japanese Covered Bridge. Walking across it is pleasant in itself, and it offers beautiful views.
There are also two vehicle bridges leading to the island, but if you are staying in the center of Hoi An, they are not necessary. Considering that the island is best visited in the evening, it is ideal to combine the visit with a walk around the center and the waterfront. Simply find the Japanese Bridge on the map, and nearby you will see the pedestrian crossing to An Hoi.
