Getting to Ho Chi Minh City Zoo (Saigon Zoo) on your own is very easy, as it is located near the center, about 2.5 km from the famous Ben Thanh Market and the tourist area of Pham Ngu Lao.

There are several convenient ways:

• By bus: The most budget-friendly option. Routes No. 19, 52, and 616 are suitable. The fare costs about 5,000 dong. You need to check at the stops where the bus is going and get off at the zoo gates.
