China Beach (Bac My An) in Da Nang: where is it, how to get there, what's good about it?

China Beach (Bac My An or China Beach) is a long, almost 20-kilometer stretch of white sand that starts just beyond the southern border of Da Nang and stretches towards Hoi An. It's an ideal place for those seeking solitude and long walks along the water's edge without crowds of tourists.
The beach is located south of central Da Nang, beyond My Khe Beach. You can get here by rented motorbike, taxi, or car. You need to head south along the coastal road Vo Nguyen Giap / Truong Sa. Since the beach is very long, there is very little infrastructure (cafes, toilets, sun loungers) hereβit's only available near the few hotels on the first line.
Its main advantage is the spaciousness and lack of people. Here, you can feel like the master of an endless coastline. The sand is fine and clean, and the water is usually calm. It's an excellent place for photoshoots, meditative walks, and peaceful swimming away from the city hustle.
Important nuance: staying here for the entire vacation might not be very convenient, as you'll be far from the main attractions and city life of Da Nang. But coming here for a day from the center is a great idea. Bring water, food, a beach mat or towel with you, as buying something on the spot might be problematic.
