Yes, there are duty-free shops Duty Free at Hurghada Airport, both in the arrival and departure areas.
- Duty Free upon arrival is located in the baggage claim hall, after passing through passport control. If you don't have time to buy something there, you have 48 hours to make purchases at one of the duty-free shops in Hurghada itself. According to reviews, prices in city shops are often lower than at the airport.
- Duty Free upon departure is located in the "clean zone" waiting area for boarding. The assortment is standard: alcohol, cigarettes, perfumes, cosmetics, jewelry, electronics, and souvenirs. However, simple souvenirs (magnets, keychains) are significantly more expensive here than in the city.
To purchase at Duty Free, you will need the original passport, where a purchase mark will be placed.
