How to get to Osmeña Peak from Cebu City?

The distance from Cebu City to Osmeña Peak is about 100 km, and the journey will take approximately 2.5-3 hours by car or motorbike. The route will pass through the southern part of the island.

There are several options:

1. Tour: The easiest way. In Cebu City, many travel agencies offer day tours that usually include transfer, a visit to Osmeña Peak, and Kawasan Falls.
2. Renting transportation: If you want independence, rent a car or motorbike. The road is generally good. Follow the highway south towards the cities of Carcar, Sibulan, and then to Dalaguete and Alegria. From Alegria, there will be a sign for Osmeña Peak.
3. Public transport: This is the most budget-friendly but also the longest option with transfers.
   • First, take a bus from South Bus Terminal in Cebu to the city of Dalaguete.
   • In Dalaguete, find a tricycle or motorbike taxi and arrange to be taken directly to the start of the trail to Osmeña Peak (this is about 15 km from the city). Alternatively, you can go to the village of Mantalongon, from which it is another 4 km on foot or by hitchhiking to the checkpoint.
