How to get to Kawasan Canyoning from Cebu City?

You can get from Cebu City to the canyoning starting point by public bus, and this is the most budget-friendly option. The entire one-way journey will take about 4-5 hours, so tourists often combine the trip with an overnight stay in Moalboal.

Here's how to do it:

1. To the bus station: You need to get to the Cebu South Bus Terminal.
2. Choosing a bus: Take a bus going to Moalboal or directly to Badian. Buses run from 5 a.m. approximately every 30 minutes.
3. On the way: A direct bus to Badian is the optimal choice. Tell the conductor that you need to get off at Kawasan Falls or at Matutinao Church in Badian. The fare is from 116 pesos, travel time is 3-4 hours.
4. Alternative route: If you take a bus to Moalboal, then in Moalboal you need to transfer to another bus or tricycle to Badian (as described in the answer above). This will add about an hour.

On site, at the church in Badian, you will find guides. Tip: Due to the long journey, it's better to leave Cebu very early in the morning or arrive in the Badian/Moalboal area in the evening.
