There are several ways to get to Oslob from Bohol and Panglao islands. The fastest and most convenient is by speedboat.

Most popular way: Direct boat from Panglao

  • Departure: Early morning (in 2025, departure at 06:30) from Momo Beach. Transfer to the departure point is also organized from the famous Alona Beach.
  • Travel time: About 90 minutes.
  • Cost: Approximately 1000 pesos one way or 1800 pesos round trip.
  • Arrival: The boat arrives at Oslob port. From there, you need to take a tricycle for 100 pesos or a passing bus to Tan-awan village (Whale Shark Centre).
  • Where to buy tickets: At travel agencies in Panglao, by phone, or on the carrier's website (e.g., apekoptravel.com). Schedule may change, check in advance!

Cheaper but longer ways (with transfers):

  1. Via ferry and bus: Ferry from Tagbilaran (Bohol) to Argao (Cebu Island) -> bus from Argao towards Oslob.
  2. Via Dumaguete: Ferry from Tagbilaran to Dumaguete -> tricycle to Sibulan port -> ferry to Liloan (Cebu Island) -> bus to Oslob.

These routes are more complicated, take a whole day, and make sense if you plan to stay overnight in Oslob or are traveling one way.
