Where is Oslob and swimming with whale sharks on the map?

The place for swimming with whale sharks is not in the town of Oslob itself, but in the village of Tan-awan, which administratively belongs to the municipality of Oslob. It is located on the southeastern coast of Cebu Island, Philippines.
The exact location is the Whale Shark Watching Briefing Centre in Tan-awan. From the main road, there is a sign leading to it, and it's just a few minutes' walk from the transport stop. This is about 130 kilometers south of Cebu City.
Most tourists visit this place as part of a day trip, as there is nothing else to do in the village besides the sharks. However, if desired, you can stay overnight in Oslob at one of the hotels to come to the sharks first thing in the morning, before the influx of large tourist groups.
