Where to buy Vietnamese coffee in Hanoi?

Vietnamese coffee in Hanoi can be bought in supermarkets, markets, and specialized stores, but prices vary greatly. The lowest coffee prices we found were in Go (Big-C) and Auchan supermarkets, slightly more expensive in BRG Market (formerly Intimex) and WinMart, and the highest in specialized stores and markets.
The price difference for the same brand of coffee can be up to double! For example, ground Vietnamese coffee 1 kg in supermarkets costs from 200,000 dong (about 590 rubles). In markets, they may try to sell the same coffee for 230,000 dong or more.
Among supermarkets in the tourist area, we recommend BRG Market near Hoan Kiem Lake - it has a good selection of coffee at reasonable prices. The only downside of supermarkets is the limited selection of coffee beans and bulk coffee.
We have detailed information on choosing and buying coffee in our guide Shopping in Hanoi, as well as in a separate article about Coffee from Vietnam.
