You can get to the Vietnamese Army Museum in Hanoi by taxi or bus, but note that it is located far from the center, almost on the outskirts of the city. Previously, the museum was within walking distance from tourist areas, but after the move, the location has become less convenient.

By taxi: This is the fastest option, especially if you are traveling in a group. The trip will cost from 140,000 dong when ordered through apps like Grab or Gojek. Travel time depends on traffic, but usually takes 30-40 minutes from central Hanoi.

By bus: A budget-friendly way, but longer in time. Suitable routes include E07, E09, E05, 74, 87, 88, 107, 157. The fare is from 10,000 dong, and the journey can take almost an hour. Buses run regularly, but be prepared for possible traffic jams.

The museum is located at: 28A Dien Bien Phu, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi. For convenience, use maps on your smartphone or our museum on the map of Hanoi to accurately determine the route.

If you don't want to spend time organizing the trip, we recommend booking a tour—this will save you the hassle of transportation. We ourselves use trusted sites, such as Trip.com or GetYourGuide, where you can find options with reviews.
